On-Campus School
The Lighthouse Academy is an on-campus school providing education year-round for the adolescent residents. We follow the Horry Georgetown County school calendar and our instruction is based upon South Carolina Department of Education curriculum standards. Our teachers are all certified and provide an outstanding educational program to meet each student's individual needs.
Classroom sizes range from five to seven students with a teacher and mental health aide in each of the classrooms. Our teachers are dedicated, highly skilled and hard working. Our mission is to create a safe, nurturing classroom environment utilizing academics and behavioral therapy to meet the needs and challenges of each student.
