Adult Dual Diagnosis

Lighthouse Conway sunroomThe adult acute dual diagnosis program aims to meet the gaps in service provision for people with coexisting mental health and substance use disorders. The term dual diagnosis refers to the coexistence of at least one separate mental disorder and one separate substance use disorder in the same individual. This frequently results in an increase in the level of symptoms experienced.

Lighthouse Care Center's dual diagnosis program is designed for the treatment of individuals who meet the above criteria and require medically supervised inpatient treatment. The program's inpatient unit provides both psychiatric and addiction treatment, as well as detoxification for alcohol and opiates.
